Summer Fun

I finally finished the last layout for my mom's calendar.  Now I just have to stamp the months and dates on it and I'll be finished.  This is a picture of my boys while we were stationed in Guam back in 2006.  That's back when they were still really sweet and innocent...lol.  The beaches in Guam are gorgeous, I would love to go back there someday.

This layout was inspired by DutchyRomy's Addicted to Love. She was kind enough to let me lift her design. Check out her gallery...she is super talented  http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/490139/view/3057441/-1.html  Thanks Romy ;)

~Love~ (Scrap That! Jan Sketch Challenge)

This is a layout that I made for the Scrap That! Jan Sketch Challenge.  This was such a fun and wonderful sketch to work with.  I want to give a big shout out to LG Belarmino from Scrap That! for an awesome sketch.  The challenge is still running until Jan 31st if you want to enter.  http://scrapthat.ning.com/forum/topics/january-sketch-challenge

These pictures are of my husband and I at game 6 of the Penguins Stanley Cup Finals.  Aside from going to a Steelers playoff game, this was one of the funnest games ever.  We had an awesome time and actually got a few decent pictures ;)

I did a lot of cut work for this LO

Never a Dull Moment

Ain't that the truth!! I had to take like 50 shots just to get one shot that is just alright.  It is so hard to get any decent pictures of my boys.  One of them is always joking around or just being shy and uncooperative.  My daughter on the other hand will pose for the camera all day long...lol

I just love the Cambridge Collection by Bo Bunny.  I've had it for a little while, but this is the first chance that I've had to use it.  It's perfect for your guys layouts.

Here's a closeup of the tag on the layout.  I just took a regular manila tag inked it and stamped it with a Prima stamp.  I cut out the transparency from the Cambridge Noteworthy Journal Cards.  The wings and crown are Tim Holtz Grungeboard, I just applied a little crackle paint and inked them.  Super easy and you get a really cute tag!! I know I've scrapped this picture before, but it's one of my mom's favorites, and it's one of the only pictures that I'm actually in and like.

Bo Bunny Layout Challenge Friday

I've been wanting to scrap these pictures of my youngest son for a while now, but I could never find the right paper.  So, when this challenge came up I started digging through my stash of Bo Bunny papers and I found the Abbey Road Collection that I bought like 2 years ago and never used. This page really reflects his personality.  Thanks to Frances Sylvia from Bo Bunny for such a great sketch!! Plus, now I have another LO for my calendar.  Three down nine to go. TFL

12 X 12 Calendar for my mom

Well first I wanted to say that I'm new to the whole Blog thing. I've been wanting to create one for a while now, but I didn't really know how.  So I finally broke down and figured it out.  I must say that it was easier than I thought.  Anyway, I made a 12 x 12 calendar for my mom last year and she loved it so much she asked me to make another one.  Well needless to say I'm running a little behind schedule, so her calendar is going to run from February to January...lol
