Beauty ~Prima March BAP~

I did this page for the Prima March BAP. I've had a lot of the new Prima products for over a month now and this is the first chance I've had to play ;) WOW... I love the Botanical's so beautiful!! I think I'm going to use this page as one of my entries for the DT Call.  I won't submit it until I can get a better picture...the shadows are horrible. Here's the link if you want to give the sketch a try.  Prima March BAP

Here's the Prima Sketch by Anam Stubbington:

This is a picture of my DD holding one of my pennies last Spring. I've scrapped this picture before, but it's one of my favorites and it matched these papers so well.  We've since moved to Alaska and I'm going to miss all my flowers back in Illinois.

Thanks for taking a peak!!

Living Life ~Bo Bunny Friday Challenge~

I did this page for the Bo Bunny Friday Layout Challenge.  This sketch is by Robbie Herring...I love her work!!  This is a picture of my daughter when she got her face painted at Kennywood.  She wanted her face painted so bad....I tried to convince her to wait until after we rode all the water rides, but of course she couldn't wait.  So about 20 minutes after she got it done, we rode a water ride and it all came off.  At least I got these pictures before it was ruined.

Lil Fisher Boy ~My Minds Eye Challenge~

I did this page for the My Minds Eye Layout Challenge #21.  I used the new Stella Rose Hattie Collection. Here's the link is you want to check it out.  My Minds Eye

My Minds Eye Sketch by Anam Stubbington

I matted the banner on a piece of lighter yellow paper to make it stand out more.

To give the circle flower more dimension, I cut out 3 of the same flowers and just cut the smaller centers out and adhered them together with foam squares.

Thanks for looking!!

Guest Designer for My Creative Scrapbook for March

I was asked to be a Guest Designer for My Creative Scrapbook for the month of March.  I'm so excited!!! I've know for a little while, but had to wait until reveal day to say anything.  I was asked to use the Main Kit and it was absolutely beautiful!!  It was jammed packed with goodies.  It was such an honor to design for such an awesome kit club!! Go check out how amazing the MCS Design Team is  My Creative Scrapbook

This is the first page that I did with the Main Kit.  This is a picture of my daughter from last Spring.  I normally scrap her the most because she's my big poser.  I just love the transparent doilies that came in the kit.  They really make the page pop.  I did a little bit of fussy cutting and I made the little white flowers.  I absolutely love the little yellow Jenni Bowlin butterflies that came in the kit.  I just inked them and added some stickles.

For my second page I decided to make a heritage LO.  This is a picture of my Grandparents on their wedding day.  This is the original it's pretty aged and discolored, but I think that just adds character.

I did a lot of inking and distressing on this page.  I wanted to tone down the color of the flowers, so I sprayed them with some Suede Glimmer Mist.  The brown daisy was originally bright yellow.  I really had to saturate the flowers.  For the ruffle on the circle I just hot glued the ribbon around it.  I'm not a big sewer, so I use my hot glue gun a lot.

I had so much fun with my next page.  These pictures are of my daughter and my middle son feeding the ducks at the park last Summer.

I just love the bright colors in this kit.  The kit came with a 12x12 elements page that had so many cute little elements and letters.  I made the banner in the corner, and I'll post the tutorial soon.  It is super easy to make.

For my last LO I just had to make a Steelers page.  I've had this picture since 2009 and have never been able to scrap it.  I could never find the right yellow pages to match, well this kit matched perfectly.  My husband is from Pittsburgh, so we're huge fans.  This picture is of my husband and I at the AFC Championship is 2009...Best game ever!!

For my altered item I decided that I wanted to decorate a printers tray.  I love printer trays!! These are all pictures of my Grandparents back in 1952.  I love how there bathing suits look and that all the ladies are wearing swimming caps.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak.

Stackable Babies ~My Minds Eye Challenge~

Hi Everyone!! It's been awhile since I've posted a layout.  I promise I've been working on something special and you'll see it in a few days...very exciting news.  Anyway, I did this layout for the My Minds Eye Challenge over at Two Peas in a Bucket.  Here's the link if you want to check it out  My Minds Eye Challenge

I used the new Stella Rose Hatti Collection.  I absolutely love this Collection.  This picture is of my sons and husband playing about 6 years ago. The title came from my husband. He would play a game that he made up with the boys called "Stackable Babies". He would yell "Stackable Babies" really loud and the boys would come running and start jumping on him and start stacking on top of each other. It was the funniest and cutest thing to see. I really miss those years. Now my boys would rather play computer or text on their

Make sure that you stop back by my blog on March 5th for some exciting new!! Thanks for stopping by!
